Finally got Pistol on the water with me. Been a whiiiile since lastn'. Conditions weren't favorable but we fished marabou tails n lace hard bodies in muddy water. Might've landed a bakers dozen of sacs with half being keepers. Plenty if bream still shallow though Prob paddled 5 miles and it was a hot'n so we didn't stay long enough to ruin the trip. Hopefully he'll come back for more next weekend

Good report and pics. Sounds like y'all had a good day and caught some nice fish. With the hot weather it is hard to fish all day. Thanks for the report :)

Nice catch along with the time spent. All my crappie come from mostly clear water - never have seen crappie with the tail/fins so red.... is it from the muddy water or are they different hybrid type species?

Swamp thing.... ha! I'd have guessed squatch.

Nicely done Adam, and Pistol... We will have too have a battle of the beards one day..... before i go back to just a Goatee...

Russ, the only time i have seen the tails Red like that in TX, is when they are on the beds, but them Sacs may be a diff story in the Pearl.... I'll let Adam elaborate.
