Big thanks to Keith for helping me work through size and style, for the type of fishing I do.

Looks like they work.

Is that a couple strands of silicon hair in the last one?

Red spot browns are so purty. Didya get to test your jigs & skills in the big trout tailwaters?

Any favorite tie colors?

Thanks again for the winter upper little lake tip. A nice fatty tugging is a great cure for cabin fever.

oh yeah.

1/8 oz Marabou only, Brown/Rust and straight Black are were the best producers... for twitching in most waters.

3/16 oz Zonker/Silcone/Marabou, Brown/char proably got the most strikes of the large jigs. Was shocked the Brown/purple didn't produce better. But I also didn't get as much time on Large water as I had hoped.

below is the best trout of the year... 22"...fell to an 1/8 oz Brown/Rust

Beautiful jigs AND fish! Does look a bit cold, but those fish would warm you up quick. Love the flow of the rabbit hair. I would also 2nd the hook/head recommendations made by Hawnjigs, he knows his stuff and makes some high quality product.

Holy sheet, I didn't know CO brownies got that fat! Interesting spot - don't think I've ever seen such a sharp bend on a bar. Is that a flow gauge in the background? Great pic showing the freeze line.

Purple has a following, but don't see it much if any in trout forage. Then again troos isn't natural, & its become my go to in the
Sutherland-Maloney canal.

Oh my gosh! I saw these and 5 min later I order the Bat mold. I'm going to tie a few of these and head off for some rainbows in Feb. Theses are stunning my friend, I can hardly wait to get them in the water.
