I saw where Stump Hunter was talking about his Palmer 552 mold, well my wife bought me a 553 mold at a flea market for a quarter. After using Do-It molds, I'm wondering if a quarter was too much. Lol I had to get out the Dremell to modify it to accept a #2 sickle. It still takes a lot of filing to clean up the heads.

IF the mold were mine I would resurface the face and redrill the hinge like Stump did. For a quarter what do you have to lose. There is at lease a quarters worth of scrap metal in that mold. And more that $10 worth of fun in making a old mold usable.

The 201 flat sinker you have to trim some the 101 Bank Sinker usually pours really good
