Rather than hi jacking the Made in China hook thread, I am looking for a round ball head jig mold for the Owner 5304.

Does someone know where I can order one?

edit. Since I'm reading good news on the Eagle claw black nickle equivalent, what is their model number for their 60d black nickle hook?

Thanks.

For the mold call Zeiners Bass Shop - they seem to sell Do-It molds at a great price.

For the eagle claw hooks I think this is the one you're looking for, this is info from Capt Hooks
EL111BP Eagle Claw WIDE GAP 60° JIG HOOK, PLATINUM BLACK

FYI- That Eagle Claw EL111BP is a wicked sharp hook and very stout!! I use it for flipping jigs and football heads. I made a guy made at me with that hook, he didn't talk to me for a year but now he has overcome his anger and thanked me for saving him money. The person was getting me to make him flipping jigs and he really liked them but he insisted only on Gamakatsu hooks so when I got a hundred of these 111BP hooks to try I made him a jig, free of charge BTW, and gave it to him to try and told him it was a new Gammy hook. To make this story shorter I'll just say he loved it, never lost a fish and told me that I now had to make all his jigs with that hook and then I told him it was an Eagle Claw, well he called every name in the book but has now come around and enjoys the money he saves on his jigs. That was the hook that got me interested in EC again. To be honest it is different than the 5304, the EC is an EWG hook, the Owner deep throat is a regualr gap hook with a deep gap that has superior holding power and the cutting point is just sick sharp. Hookup, if you want to make a round head jig using that hook Barlow just got the new trokar molds from do-it, it is a shaky head mold that will use the 5304 and you can pour it without the sping lock, it just leaves a little tiny bump, the down side is it won't be weedless unless you modify the mold.

Hawn,
I went on Do-It's site and it looks like that mold will take a 60 degree regular hook and a flat eye hook.

If you want a jig with the spring-lok buy the older style mold without the flat spot. Because first of all, all these stand-up jigs aren't worth a S**T. I don't want to upset anyone here, but smalljaw and I have had this discussion many times, and we both came up with the same conclusion. Stand-up jigs just plainly do not stand up on the lake bottom. Everything is fine in a controled environment like they show in their 10 gallon aquariums, however this is not reality on the lake bottoms. However if you want to use that mold as just a round head jig mold even with the flat spot, then I think you would be fine.

I do not see just a round head jig mold that can use a 5304 hook or for that matter a 32786 hook. I could be wrong.

Tried to fit 32786 2/0 & 3/0 in a SRH 1/4 - nope, gap too wide to fit inside the point slot. 1/0 MIGHT be bent to fit, but I ain't trying. Don't have any 5304s.

Hawn,
On the 5304's, they cannot be bent. You will break them first. I tried to bend it a little and it snapped.
