I know Russ ( Attica Fish ) likes to stretch the imagination not to mention technique. So heres a little something I brewed up today .

Don't know if I will ever tie a bunch of these as it was quite a bit of work and time. Will let fish be judge next time out. I started out trying to imitate an emerald shiner. It did not end up as an emerald shiner. Somewhere somehow I got sidetracked:rolleyes:

Gray bunny on top, white bunny on bottom, streamer hook #2 wrapped with lead wire for weight.

Heck yeah - i'll take 2 dozen! :D Colors look good to me as is..... but you did miss on the emerald shiner colors, that is unless it has been hanging around the outflow of Davis Bessie nuke plant. hahaha!

#2 hook - you know where you got it from? I looked around (a little) a while back at places i usualy order from and had a hard time finding anything bigger than #4 streamer or nymph without going up to saltwater hooks. Looks like it has a good long/sharp point too.

Ok guys heres the deal. Tested the creation in a bucket of tap water. It looked real good wet. Looked so good I wanted to eat it. So I tied three more on the same general style. After watching it move in the bucket I am confident it will tear them up. Proofs in the pudding so will field it and its brothers tonight..If I can find the crappie this should provide good test. They have been real selective lately so looks like they have plenty to choose from. Will repeort tommorow.

Field test went awry. Crappie have moved from one spot annd my ace in the hole was occupied by other fishermen. Caught fish but trip was a total bust. Everything I caught was on live bait never got one bite on any jig. Gave up about 230 in the AM
