So far no fire close to me . I just hope nobody in these hills gets the crazy notion to burn anything . If fire hit this place there would not be a prayer . It would look like the forth of July . When you walk on the grass it sounds like your walking across a bowl of shredded wheat .

This weather sucks we don't need all the rain we're getting and you guys can't get any at all.

Just got the internet back here. We got a nice rain tonight and lots of thunder and lighting to go with it. Knocked the power out for a bit. Must have gotten at least 3/4 inch of rain. That means that it will be really sticky tomorrow. With the rain it will give us here in Deep Northeast Texas a bit of relief from fire danger for a little while. Haven't burned any thing for over a month and haven''t had to mow the whole lawn for three weeks. The grass is always greener over the septic tank and lines. God must have finally heard our prayers.
