Think the color turned out nice, like the green and gold. The end result looks good also.

Cool looking paint work for sure. I'm a fan. Maybe a gold candy with some flake over a limeish green? Whatever it is it looks cool.
I like those eyes, where'd they come from?
Nice looking completed jig. Still trying to wrap my eyes around those buggy chenilles...

The paint is simple, candy watermelon base with Glass Clear & Gold Glitter overcoat. The chenille is #10 Mardi Gras then 4 strands Pearl Flashabou in a Chartreuse Hackle tip & 2 "V's" plus 1 Dr. Blue "V", all on a 3/32oz Pro Walleye head.

Close enough in my paint guess. Looks purty. May try a fl green under something similar to get the fish catching effect for here. :)
Good work.

Eyes?

Great job. I like the dark green, the gold glitter, they eyes, but it's not like any golden shiner I've ever seen.

Here's what I"ve been doing (rather unsucessfully for now, but I know I'm close) to get the golden shiner that I believe the fish want.

I've been playing around with painting heads & skirts on spinnerbaits. Great color for the mid-atlantic smallmouth I hunt. Don't really have it down good enough to break out the camera & post pix yet, but I've been using a tutorial I got on TU from a user I've seen post on here on multiple color powder painting and am using a combination of gold, red (should be orange, but its what I had on hand), black, & white powder paint with some gold, pearl, light light purple silicon.

Keep up the good work & keep posting.

Posting "Work in progress" photos is perfectly acceptable! I'd like to see what you've come up with so far. That's just me.
