And according to Rad, crappie aren't the only fish that will eat your jigs...

They liked this one particularly well. Caught so many the hook finally broke from reshaping it...

Thank you for the jigs wtex. Seems there was more caught on your hand tied works of art than fish. I have a wish list for my birthday already.

You are welcome my friend. Don't listen to Roger he will mislead you.
I caught a few this weekend on my Bday with them. If the hooks are gonna break I guess I need to send you some more. You must need the black nickle they are not as soft as the red.

Looks like some JC guys switched you - you'll never go back.

Can't figger from the pic if the fish is huge or the jig is small - sizes?

Happy Birthday wtex, hope you had a great day...The jig size was 1/8 oz. They weren't big fish, just good solid healthy fish. And your right about the hooked part. I have been jig fishing since I was in grade school., and I'll turn 53 next month. The quality of store bought jigs just isn't as good as it once was. I was going to use my old stuff up first, but looks like I will just re-do it instead... LOL Thank ya'll for your kind words and in advance for future help. This is a GREAT forum to be a part of... Thanks for the Bday wishes guys. After so many they just are not as exciting as they once where. But it's better than dirt nap'n.
Jerrad has put a hurting on some drum with them more than once.
I have told jig man the jig is only as good as the man with the rod in his hand.
Mel, you have been telling me for at least a year now you were gonna start tying. So when you gonna jump in?
I'll bet when you start it won't be long and you will be doing so good you won't even fish with one of my old ugly jigs.

As soon as I pay the lease on the ranch next month. All this time I thought you had to have a bunch of expensive equipment to start. But after watchin ya'll I now Know all ya need is a pair of scissors to trim the cat and a couple of pop sickle sticks for a vise.... :-)
