OK have received the six NO-NAMES I ordered. In the pic one is in the package. The top one is the original NO-NAME.
The next one down is tied cream-colored wool, red head and painted front.
Next one is a translucent flash material with silver highlights and painted front
Bottom one is satin fibers with one strand of flash Iridescent purple no front finish like original.
Ordered the originals from Tara Fujita at the website on the package. The ones I tied for experimental fishing were unfinished jigs purchased form Jack Fujita. This is one lure that LESS is MORE.
After watching the original in my lab tank. And comparing some of my other no-name imitations. I see I erred in putting too much material and maybe even going too big. When I was tying them before.
If you have read any of my previous post on this unique lure. It is one of the deadliest lures I have ever used. Also the size fish I have caught on it. Is in opposite proportion too its tiny size 12 hooks. I have used in rivers and streams , ponds and lakes. In every body of water it has caught fish. Going to try thru the ice next year too.
After watching in tank if fish are seeing the same thing I am seeing. The lure can represent a bug or a minnow. Which is why it works on all species.
