Finally christmas is here and 2 solid months of tying is wrapped up. My fathers gift is done, and I have tied more jigs then I thought possible. Man has it been a learning experience. I look back at the first jigs I did and find major flaws, but it has been so much fun. First learning to powder paint, building my first fluidbed and buying my 6 dollar goodwill toaster oven. To learning how to tie everything I can think of under the sun. Even coming up with a few things of my own.
Now it is time to start contributing to the Fishing sections of this great forum and show you all some Rocky Mountain trout.
below is my 1/32 oz jig box for the upcoming season. I am really going to devote some serious time to taking time tested Steelhead/salmon techniques and scale them down to colorado trout. Mix in a few things I have learned from fly fishing the rockies and it should be a fun year.will they all work? not a clue but it will be fun along the way!
Merry Christmas all! and the Schmidts wish you all a happy new year!
