Hey all,
This is a great site, and I'd like to thank the founders for making it and letting us play in it.
I found the site based on another thread over at OhioGameFishing.com, where I posted some bucktail pics and met AtticaFish. I'm just getting started, and have alot to learn. I'm hoping to take part in the next jig swap.
My interest in tying jigs (bucktail variations up to now) is at least partially based on the fact that I'm taking a trip to Florida soon, and jigs of all kinds are widely used down there. White bucktail jigs are also commonly used to catch my local favorites, hybrid striped bass. Well, I like smallies just about as much, but it's hard to argue with the hybrids for sheer strength. Up to now, I've used live shad to catch wipers, and I'm looking to expand my capabilities a bit this year.
In any case, I look forward to learning more. I'll be around!
Dustin
