The rubber legs were reffered to in the old days as ants . Used to cut golf balls apart unwind the bands for legs . There was a million miles of rubber in those things seemed like . Brim and perch killing lil dudes . I'd take any one of those jigs fishing .

You are doing a great job with your tying. All the jigs look good. Rubber leg jigs, tie them so they work for you catching fish.

I'd say you're doing a fantastic job!!!! The little jigs with the silicone legs are indeed called "ants" or "crappie spiders" depending on the location. I like the kip jig, it looks like a kip jig should, very insect, or small crustacean like, very nice work!!

thanks guys. Jim, i am hoping to meet a friend for some perch jerkin. gonna take my Ultralight and my fly rod, so ill be using a bunch of em.
