New rod

Just got the st croix panfish series rod to add to my panfish arsenal. Paired it with the penn battle 1000 and 2 lb nanofil. Very nice rod possibly my favorite, it has a wonderful action and I think it will throw some small jigs with perfection

I also just bought a St. Croix Pan fish series rod, the 7Ft. model, 1 piece.The reason I purchased the rod is I saw a u-tube that swore by the rod for drop shotting crappie and pan fish. The first one that arrived, the tip was bent to the side, when I repacked it into the tube for return, I had to bend the tip slightly to fit and it snapped off. If the seller wasn't so good and had already sent me a replacement before even having the original returned, I think possibly I would have canceled the rod. The new rod is also a little scary in the tip. Will just have to see how it holds up. Pop
