PERCHBANNERONE.jpgView attachment 6View attachment 6View attachment 5I was wandering about last nigt and found your site. I had no idea that there was a place for jig makers to meet. I also thought that there can't be to many either. The jig has been relegated to a specific specialized use. Cold water. It started with the introduction of soft plastics. I'm sure you people know where hair jigs fit in. Before plastics thats all we had and we fished'm throughout the seasons until the ice cometh. Anyway I think it will be interesting to stop by. I have been tying since 1963 or so.
If I get this right you will be able to see one of my perch variations

Hey old timer, I started tying about the same time as you, except I took a 45 yr. break before starting up again. Very nice flashy fur tie.

That jig makes me think of the Jack Crawford style jigs of yesteryear that I've only read about. It's beautiful.

Had a hunch that I was familiar with your work. Well, it turns out I was right.
