View attachment 2Well it is a new edition for me . Snagged this 3'' grub mold . You can top pour it or inject it . Makes a Kalin style grub that stretches to 4'' swimming. First pours are going to be chart with gold flake .

The wider tails swish in the water better . One of my buddies in New Mexico goes for Laker Trout . Only reason I got it . Sends me fish and all kinds of stuff .

Perfect size for a smallie grub but bigger crappie would eat that. Fm,I wouldn't cut a grub like that down for a 1/16, I'd go with a bigger hook in the 1/16. A #1 or 1/0 would be perfect,I have a few 1/16 molds that will pour those sizes. An 8 inch crappie could get that in it's mouth, had one eat a 4 inch grub with a 2/0 jig hook while smallie fishing. It barely fit, that little guy was hungry.

Thats a great mold for coreshots! Just pour, then shoot! You'll be able to 4 pretty similar baits since its a pour/shoot mold.

Best to have two presto pots going for that . Then you can have one to drip and one to draw from.
