So my mom n pop have been looking for a getaway house close to his hunting camp in Waynesnoro, MS. They finally found a place and pops sent me an email. No house pictures but did send a few pictures of its fishing "amenities".

Right across the road, 500 acre reservoir

A few "good" trees in the yard :-)

Kind of excited and thought I'd share with the bros.

Thx fellas! I believe our family wil def try to find time out of our busy schedules for this one. Getting harder and harder to get family together as a whole. Like getting Heath to travel my ways....
Sonny, know you don't fish live bait, but those catalpa worms will beat out anything I've ever found for fishing gills n crackers on the river. If I get there any time soon imma bag n freeze some for ya so I can admire more LP reports fr afar

Catalpa worms will catch a load of cats too. Haven't fished with them in 15 years. Tree looks loaded down. Hope to hear a fishing report soon from you soon with that reservoir.

That's no swamp.............. you know how to fish something like that? You'll get out in the open and feel naked and exposed. :P Looks like a nice piece of water with even some brush out there in the middle. Hope you get to explore it soon enough.

Do visit your folks as often as you can. I really miss fishing with my father. Their lake house sold just a couple of weeks back.

We have catalpa trees in IN called northern catalpa or cigar trees. Catalpa worms are golden to many catfishermen here too.

MS has lots of great fishing opportunities. Would be a great place to tralier your boat to. Bay Springs Lake comes to my mind, but I don't have to pay for the gasoline. ;)
