Give me an honest opinion guys, this is something I came up with while looking at all kinds of tied jigs from here and other places on the web. I call this my crappie craw, it is a 1/16oz jig with no collar so I'm guess it is closer to 1/32, maybe 1/24, anyway it uses a #6 hook and what I did was spin a small amount of black deer hair near the bend of the hook then I tied in 2 hackle tips with the centers cut out as my claws and then I finished it by spinning both black and brown deer hair up the hook shank like stacking deer hair for a muddler. Once I finished it I trimmed it down pretty close but still left some out for bulk. BTW, I left the back just a tiny bit longer at the bottom so the jig stands up which it is doing in the picture.

I can tell you twin hackles coming out the back are in my top ten tying likes .Stacking deer hair is something of an art as well . Looks like you got the hang of it pretty good . Keep working at it more ideas are sure to come . Great work .
