Here are two crappie jigs I did today in color patterns that are new, well at least to me they are new. Both are 1/32oz ball jigs with a #6 hook, the top jig is painted watermelon red flake with dark olive hackle and black pearl flash for the tail and excelsior olive chenille for the body. The next jig is painted candy blue with blue buck tail and rainbow pearl flash for the tail and winter run blue chenille for the body. The olive can be a baitfish/insect imitation but I'm not sure about the blue but I never did an all blue jig so I wanted to make some and see how they come out and then the next test will be to see how the fish take to it.
