A friend on another forum has a "favorite" jig that he and his wife like to fish with. His source has dried up. The main problem is the jighead itself. It's some kind of minnow head, and the top of the head is thinner than the base. The pic I saw has eyes, but I'm not sure if they're painted on, flat stick-on, or 3D stick-on eye.

I know I've seen this type of head before, but can't remember what it's called. Chuckanddeb's website doesn't have one listed, neither does CAT. Does anyone know what kind of jighead this is? Where could I get some?

Here's the pic. Sorry, it's not the best. This was supplied by the person asking for help.

Ok, I edited my original post and added a picture of the original jig. I'm thinking it might be a chub head?

My guess is a custom mold made that head, and the designer was an astute observer of jig head function and marketable appearance. Be worth following your friend's source trail to the actual maker.
