Mylar Straight to the hook!

I make something just like this for gills......why not crappies. Raining here today so time to tie a couple jigs! This head is a mod to a 1/32 to make the football. I have not put it on a scale. #4 sickle hook attached to this gem.

Quick & EZ tie - let us know how it works.

Looks like a perfect mod - ups the 1/32 to my go to 1/24 panfish jig weight, altho I prefer a #8 hook.

Depending on which 1/32nd mold you did - should be close. My footballs are real close to 1/32nd with my modified Pro do-it pro mold (suppose to be 1/32nd roundhead but is actually closer to 1/48th). We use a #6 or #8.

Have tied Mylar jigs using a 1/16 oz and they produce. I like the small football head, nice work.
