I spent an afternoon carving out a space in my basement for my new paint supplies. :) Need to re-configure where my speakers are, being under the desk i have to turn my music up a little too loud to hear it and the bass seems to annoy my wife a little. Either that, of 4 speakers is just too many. ha!

I know.... it is a mess already. :D The over-head light is actually a hood from an old fish tank, going to look into finding some new flouro bulbs for it since the ones in it now are ancient. The bench stands at about 4ft high so a stool will be nice once i get around to it also.

Getting the hang of the painting too!

4 speakers might just be a tiny bit of overkill . But other than sonic vibrations cracking the glass in the windows looks good to me.

Only thing I would change would be the beverage.. Ultra light!!! :) Momma would just have to get used to the tunes. :icon14: Great looking colors already!!!

4 speakers are only bad when the badness is relative to the music being played....
Looks like a good "away" room. You're painting looks great, you catch on faaaast. You'll be up there w/ the other powder gurus in no time.

My 'paintshop' now....

As you can see, my darn paint jars multiplied like rabbits. Think i am done with getting in new colors - other than maybe 1 or 2 - or adding some glow colors - oh who am i kidding, there will probably be more. My mess is growing rapidly too but i still know where EVERYTHING is..... if you give me a minute to find it. :P

The oil lamp is my heat source and works really well with the glass flute on it. I screwed together some wood and a coat hanger (right behind the oil lamp) so i can set a pair of forceps up top and pre-heat the next jig.

Had to update my flourescent light as well - the fish tank hood light died on me.

I would have thought that oil lamp would leave a coating on the jig and the paint would not stick to it. Glad I didn't make a bet on that. Nice set up. I like your jig holder also. Looks like it comes in handy for painting.

As before nice set up and yes I'm jealous!!!!!! I've been using the heat gun more and more for my powder painting - it takes some getting used to, but I'm powdering faster than when I heated the jigs up in the oven. So I cut my work time.

I wish I had some pics of your bedroom when you were in high school.
There would have been a different sort of comments.
I can hardly believe you would have ever got organized.
You are welcome to your great grandfather's stool. It's in the garage
whenever you want to take it home.

Nice, I just got my lead pouring station set up but I need a painting station too. Right now I'm painting my jigs in the area that I airbrush crankbaits. Maybe I just have too many hobbies. Lol
Nice job AF.
