Installed a mister on the patio a few weeks back, and every evening when I turn it on the dogs start circling a tree just off the patio.

Didnt figure it out at first but a resident squirrel likes it as much as we do...

He just sits in the bough of the tree as long as we are out there..

Well the heat has finally hit Maine. Even the grays are in hiding... Mid 90's tomorrow, but may try it for a bit early...

Wish it was only 90 here but then I might freeze to death. 16 days straight of 100 + 90 degrees at midnight. Looks like dust bowl days all over again.

I don't know how you guys do it out there... Buddy and I fished for 3 hours, daylight till 9...got way too hot for us. We did end up however with 101 crappie, bass and perch. Temp today is 100 with a 107 heat index!. Thank goodness we only get a few days of this a year! A nice snow storm would be nice about now.. :D

Haha cute lil sucker! Squirrels are some of the funniest animals to watch. Some days Lou (fox squirrel) will follow me in the shop, sprawl out on an office chair and watch me tie. Ha then some days he will just look at me like im stupid! One things for sure, I cant put rat poison out any more.

I use to have a grey squirrel that I raised from a little baby. Named him "Sam". Took him over to my grandparents house on the weekends, Sam liked granddad. Would lay flat on granddad's leg and watch T.V. with him until "Sam" had to pee one day and peed on granddad's leg and didn't even move when he did it. Needless to see granddad threatened that squirrel with an inch of his life but never harmed "Sam"
