More storms!

Well we had some severe storms roll thru! Had a big pecan limb fall on the powerline and ripped the meter off the side of the house! Had another one break out of my tree and take out the neighbors fence And carport!
We were lucky there's a bunch of houses with trees thru the roof on our street!

Not sure when we'll get power.

Glad everyone is ok.... We just caught a huge line of storms offshore.. Got struck by a huge lightning bolt, and fried 2 of my wind sensors, 2 VHF radios, 1 of my DGPS units, 1 single side band radio.... Needless to say, we are heading in to the dock... Mother nature wants me to go home early!!!
I have video... Will try to post it tomorrow!

Yea it's that time of the year again... Had to dive/drive in under an oak tree on the way in to work this morning... Quarter size hail. I don't think there is any damage, but its still to dark to see. Glad you guys are ok... Those storms with names is why I'm not still off-shore Squeaky.

Well we are just starting to get the weather as I type this ... Rain just started in full force ... Lightin, and has been thundering for the last hour ... So far we have not had the heavy wind but am lookin for it.

yep, couple tornados touched down about 20 miles away. sirens been going off, dogs going crazy. yall be safe!!

YES!!! Be careful!!! I am worried as hell about my family.....they are right on that I-20 corridor....just east of all the storms and destruction today. I'll be getting off tomorrow...heading home!!! My stomach knots up every time storms come by.....after Katrina.... and losing so much...I just hate them....all of em...tornados, hurricanes...thunderstorms....all give me the willies now!!

Well we road out the worst of the storms. There was a little weather west of us but think it was between Longview and your place Jerry. Right now it seems to be traveling North-northeast and it is sliding right by us. Yesterdays storm was worst than today's was. High wind and heavy rains and looks like I will be replanting part of my tomatoes. No damage here not even any power outage. Wonders never cease. Bad part is fishing will not be good for a week as the water is muddy and it has wash a bunch of feed into the lake. Well more time for me to tie up a few more fish getters.

Looks like the DFW area got hit hit hard this afternoon,,hope all are ok !!

Saw some video on the news tonight with semi's getting tossed around like toys,Ill see if i can find some online..

I GOT JUICE! Just in time to get that big order of plastics bagged up to ship in the morning... A day late but it will get there.
Yeah i saw Dallas had it bad. Another line of storms is moving across our area. Just checked and saw a LOT of Red on the radar.

The DFW area was hit HARD, Last i heard Arlington is in a state of emergency, around 400 homes damaged by the one that touched down there, couple hundred in Lancaster, damge in Dallas, and then there was the Baseball size hail that pommeled property in Coppell, my sis-inlaws car was hammered.
