Been looking all over trying to find a mold for some variety of ice fishing jig and keep drawing blanks. I have found one and not sure I like the mold or the company (cannot find info on them)

I have made a number of Jigs like Russ has shown in his tutorial but not overly happy with then, Jans and a few other companies sell some ice fishing jigs that are kinda neat looking.

Most I would believe are cast on a Mustad 33903 kink shank hook.

Looking that Route, I only find one Larva mold and that is not the Body shape I want, So are these a Custom mold only or a make your own mold proposition. Or just be happy and choose from commercial offerings http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/ice-jigs/

Kdog - What style jigs/blanks are you looking for?

Jay Wirth - Have any pics of the custom stuff you make? I wouldn't mind seeing what you have and bet there are a few others that may be interested as well.

These are the Ice Jig shapes I have molds for. I can sell unpainted heads in any qty pm me for prices. The picture with some of the heads tied also show a ball head read tail jig. These work great I have ball head jigs 1/100 and up. The two in the photo are gold and silver plated - these I have 1/90, 1/60, 1/32 (three sizes off the top of my head I'm 99% sure Im correct without checking :P)

I have Shad darts down to 1/64 and Ball Heads down to 1/100. I am not looking to buy as I enjoy casting my own so really am looking for a source for molds but am getting the feeling I will have to make my own or be content (never) with what I have.

Kdog check out Hardwater section here. I posted a pic of my mold 1/13/12. It's a bit tricky and I've not used it a bunch but you may have more knowledge of solder than I do. I can't figure out how to post a link... Trying to remember where it came from.

Think your best bet for a mold would be to ask Jacobs to make ice jig molds. I think I saw where he planned to at one time. Bring the topic up on his forum and see where it goes.

Bought it online Reinke Bros website.

WOW, if there was a store like that near by, my wife would pay to have be banned for life.

I started a thread on Jacobs forum for ice jig molds. If y'all want to see molds like these become available post what you have in mind over there. If there's enough support he'll make it happen. I got the ball rolling now it's y'alls turn!

Wow, I love the vintage Reinke Bros store sign! Those "molds" for holding blades for soldering are genius! And inexpensive.
