I saw a minnow or two had an air hole on the throat where the sprue was.I decided to paint them and tie them up to see if it effected the jig at all.Might leave a bubble trail or seem like it is an injured baitfish of some kind.????

Hmmmmm??? Not enough air for a trail... How bout glue red crystal flash or rubber leg in the hole - like its bleeding.

I get them some times also. Some times the eye has a small gap between the flat part of the eye and the head also. May be from opening the mold to early for me.

Cram a piece of Alka Seltzer in there, when it starts working you'll get your bubble trail. Used to do that with Tube baits while smallmouth fishing.

Bruce just blow in the hole and fill it up with some hot air....lol

Little does he know that I'll be chewing on an Alka Selser tablet and spitting it into that hole and pulling in the big one,lol.
