Trout fishing a couple weeks ago fishing small black hard body's in Montauk's fly fishing only section with a strike indicator I put on a show for several fly fisherman catching one after another while they didn't catch anything. Got so bad that two of them accused me of bait fishing and actually came over to check and see what I was using. It was just a simple 1/80 hardbody on a #12 sickle hook. Hardbody's drop like a stone for their size and I needed that bait to get down. Unfortunately lost the four to breakoffs on the hook set so I switched to white in a 1/64 #12 and did just as well including that 24 1/2 rainbow the next day that I posted pics of on another thread. I had some free time and decided to stock up on these little guys. Ended up doing 55 before stopping, all tied on #10 and #12 sickles. I need to get back out there and get some of these wet. This box and a few shot and strike indicators just might be all I need. New item that I really like is a 1/64 shad dart hardbody on a #10 sickle. Got that feeling that it will murder them.Last pic on the bottom.View attachment 3View attachment 4View attachment 5

qk, I pour them myself, even poured some on a #12 sickle which I havn't tied yet. You may have gotten them from me,sent you heads in the past but don't remember what and you sent me some flies in trade which I can't find now. Really liked the flies, I'll find them soon I hope. Planning another trout trip as soon as we get some mid 80's, hate camping when it's hot.

Looking good as always!!!!!!!! I've got to try some of those for the trout pond I fish. I've got some really small jig heads I got from Redman that I know are smaller than my size 6 jig hooks. I'll have to find em.
