I still notice them log in on occasion....... maybe i can get them to bite and post here.
Perhaps, they have gotten to the point in their OOOLLLDDD age that now they just buy 'hand' tied jigs at walmart from one of those made in china manufactures? Haha!
I know that Toady is ok we talk on the landline about every month or so. He will pop up here sooner than later. Just give him time he has his plate full at times. Last time we talked he was busy with gathering wood for the winter and he had some repairs he was making on the Homestead. That is what I have been up to the last few days. Still have about a cord left to cut and split up the rest of the wood I traded for cut and split but I have to unload and stack.
I not missing just busy. Getting all juiced up about ice fishing this year. Every year I try not to get too excited but my ice fishing hormones just won't let me be. Ice fishing in Ohio is about as reliable as one of my wife's promises. Some years we never get ice and that slays me.
Using this last year convinced me to move away from flashers to the more modern FF/GPS combos. This year going to be using an 859C HD combo Humminbird the 7 inch screen will be bonkers on the ice.
Still just not sure how that setup actually works on the ice...... can you still watch your jig/lure on the screen? You need to snap a picture (or screen shot?) while you are out on the ice. That is out of my budget range, but always love to see what the new tech can do. Have fallen in love with my simple little H-Bird 35. Here is hoping for a nice cold winter with not a whole lotta snow in Ohio.
