I would give them a call as they show free shipping on orders of $150.00 or more in the USA. They use to ship free at the 100.00 mark.

Went to order some Tungsten jigs for ice fishing from Clam Corp.. Picked out 10 jigs, went to checkout and it showed $9.38 for shipping. Went back to cart, deleted items and looked elsewhere. Outrageous!!!!!

I'm sure its free shipping over $150 with them, I use it all the time - maybe check where the shipping options are that you have ups instead of usps selected and you should see the free option.

Yep, over 150 is free shipping, I know what you did, you chose the expedited shipping that was in the drop down menu, what you didn't do was click on the shipping choice, they give you 3 or 4 different shipping choices and anything over $150 qualifies for free if you click on the box, but since you didn't see that I would call them and explain it.

Jann's Netcraft has some high shipping costs also..... but they do run email specials for free shipping from time to time and other promos.

I ordered two molds and some hooks from Lure parts online and paid $40 shipping on a $107 order and then when I picked up the package at the post office I was blessed with a $15 customs fee. I would love to have been able to get away with a $18 shipping charge. We really get nailed bad here in Canada when it comes to online shopping. The molds were 1/2 the price I would have paid locally but with the shipping and customs fees I lost out on the deal

tell me about it! Guess there must be a reason the molds are twice the price outside the U.S, hmm? :-)

Lurepartsonline has an unmatched choice of items, but it sure is pricey in many ways. Plus, I keep buying them out, and waiting for reorders bums me out since I have to do twice the paperwork at the customs. Barlows however ships for 40$ across the big pond, good enough for me!

concerning ups - I used to consider them to be pricey, but somewhat premium. I used to...

awaiting a sending of loco foam to build some crease-fly style floating finesse baits, I found a note in my mailbox yesterday that said "nr. 6", plain and simple. Happylie, I went over to my direct neighbour with that nr. - who said he never received it. Then I went to neighbouring street`s nr. 6, which delivery guys sometimes mistake - no parcel either. Then I called the hotline - nr. expired. So I took down a note and called the new number to hear a computer voice spell some other familiy´s last name. Heard it before, think they live nearby, but no idea where... Asked a few neighbours, looked up some name plates, no result. So I wrote an e-mail to UPS a few minutes ago asking them if they could be so kind and ask their delivery guy if he might know, as that could be be cheaper and faster than a request at the community authorities...

Hate to put people in trouble like that but I honestly don´t know another way to fix this. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Curious what they`ll have to say about it.

Good Luck! Call the sender, explain you have not received merch, have them initiate a trace. Most of the UPS driver are pretty good but some are either Lazy, Stupid, or just Don't Care. I have had packages delivered 25 miles away in the wrong zip code. Of course the street name and number matched. Best part on that one, UPS claimed I signed for it.

Fortunately for me, at the time I was shipping 4-5 hundred packages daily through UPS the UPS account rep was kind enough to dig into the matter for me. What was done on their end was never revealed but my daily driver told me the driver got written up. and 2 of those write ups get you fired.
