How they came up with their ranking..........
First, we made a list of the 100 most populated places in the U.S. .........would have me scared off right away.
...........where it ranked a pretty middle-of-the-pack 58th.........
Lubbock must rank 58th in nightlife cause there is nothing else to do around town during the day? Ha!
Toledo, OH ranked #29.... that would be my closest 'big' city. I don't go there unless i have to. But Jann's Netcraft is located in one of the burbs.
Attica, OH. Population 899 (2010 census)
I will take my small town livin' and deal with the 30 minute drive to get groceries with a smile. Any decent music venues are at least an hour and a half away (or more) and majority of bars are truly dives. When the sun goes down, i'd rather be fishing. My own food is better than any restaurant. Then again, the other day i shot a dove from my front porch and it was my horsedevore... or-derv... (pre-meal snack) for the evening! Heck, Google can't spell it so why should i! I like boring...... but not BIG CITY boring. Chesapeake, VA (#3) offers swamps, birdwatching, & napping. Sounds like i might be happy there.
People have way too much time on their hands to crunch these numbers and come up with some of these rankings.
