They say we got too much fast food and not enough restaurants or local fare. They just didn't know where to look.

4 of the top ten in Texas come on. These guys must have been smoking weed or something. Even out here in the sticks we drive 20 miles and we can listen to great music and we have some of the best eats anywhere. Texas is full of good food, Great times, and nightlife. They just didn't care to look close or must have something in for Lubbock, or maybe Texas in general. Most likely they want to be a Texan and can't be one.

How they came up with their ranking.......... First, we made a list of the 100 most populated places in the U.S. .........would have me scared off right away.

...........where it ranked a pretty middle-of-the-pack 58th.........
Lubbock must rank 58th in nightlife cause there is nothing else to do around town during the day? Ha!

Toledo, OH ranked #29.... that would be my closest 'big' city. I don't go there unless i have to. But Jann's Netcraft is located in one of the burbs. :)

Attica, OH. Population 899 (2010 census)
I will take my small town livin' and deal with the 30 minute drive to get groceries with a smile. Any decent music venues are at least an hour and a half away (or more) and majority of bars are truly dives. When the sun goes down, i'd rather be fishing. My own food is better than any restaurant. Then again, the other day i shot a dove from my front porch and it was my horsedevore... or-derv... (pre-meal snack) for the evening! Heck, Google can't spell it so why should i! I like boring...... but not BIG CITY boring. Chesapeake, VA (#3) offers swamps, birdwatching, & napping. Sounds like i might be happy there.

People have way too much time on their hands to crunch these numbers and come up with some of these rankings.

Attica you live in a big town. 899 people that is 7 times more that our thriving megatropolis of Uncertain,Texas. Heck we don't even have our own Post Office or Zip Code. Guess that is why we are named Uncertain. All our mail comes out of Karnack 8 miles away and we are considered a Rural Route mail delivery. Would I give up living out in the sticks like I do. No they will carry me out horizontal feet first.

LOL wow 4 TX cities in the top 10. Here in the hills of KY there's no boredom whatsoever, our state motto is keeping the girls barefoot and pregnant and fish on your lunch hour unless you call in sick then you fish all day!
