Those big gills will spoil you for sure. There's some nice crappie out there, nice Black Crappie. There's bass there that could just about eat the fish in the pictures. They throw bass baits out there big enough to fillet.

Impressive catches LedHed. :cool: I've examined your recent threads this evening. Wow!

Could the first fish pictured be a hybrid? If caught further east, I might ponder the lineage of a longear or redbreast x bluegill cross.

Some of the bluegills pictured in your other threads exhibit fins with orange or lite-white fringe, much like a green sunfish. Particularly the dorsal and caudal fins. Interesting.
