In my neck of the woods, you get a good bite this time of the year because photoperiod's telling the fish to put on their feedbags for winter.

Using crickets with the jigs Tim.
Lots of hatches going off and the shad & shiners are all over the lake George. Water temps are going down with the draw down too. Time to put on the feed bag.
