2nd pic is my fav., although they all look like art. Honestly, greatest fishing pics come from your posts and I'm a Sac fanatic.
You say fishing 25-30 fow, any idea the avg area they were caught at? I'm just trying to visualize the technique.

lookin good sonny, I heard that years ago there were lots of em bigger than that, but got overfished. i did not know bluegill lived that deep!

Bucko - both seem to work well. Haven't noticed one out fishing the other. I need to study the action more.

PH - about 5 - 6 years ago the lake level was dropped over 30' - severely reducing the lake surface area. Concentrated a lot of fish that got picked off. There are still a lot of big fish in the lake. Some people don't talk about it and some people get irate because I do.

Wow, thats a huge lake drop, Drought hit my home lake pretty hard a couple years back. i could step off my peir and walk about 200 yards out to where the lake was. it was crazy. Its come up to normal level now. No big gills in that lake though i dont think, but my other home lake (which is closer but my grandparents live at the other one) has bluegills about that size.
