Got out today with Big Ant on the advice of my fishing partner - Jim. Baitmaster and him went out yesterday and slayed in the canyon & inlet.

Me and BA fished the dam in 30-35 FOW with reptile and faby autos. Lots of 9" and some 10" BGs. We even had a quadruple hook up!

I've been waiting for another Success Post. Those are some Nice fish as usual! I have a couple of random questions for ya. Just curious but what is the deepest you have ever caught Bluegill? Do you always tip your autos with something?

It's about time you got out and thumped some gills. Probably should have tried that area when I was out there but catching crappie out there sure was a blast.

Andy - we can get them deep out here too. My partner fishes 60 FOW - the day before they were getting BGs from 10 - 60 FOW. Me and Big Ant fished 30 - 40 FOW.

I like to use crickets on the autos. Added weight for casting and the body resistance for a slow fall. And if the cricket is picked off you still have a lure to work back - get a lot of BGs on the 2nd strike.

Kept a few Adam - gotta have the tacos.....
