Got out to Perris with Big Jim and Tim. Started out really cold and got to be a nice day. We found some nice BG in 60 FOW - surface temp was 48F. Got mine on Belly spinners with crickets. We ended up keeping 14 fish and leaving a bunch to grow....

Regardless of those depth differences, still outta my league. If I'm fishing 13' I'm @ my limit. New gear would have to be involved. Y'all using rid holders?

Sonny, I might have your beard beat this winter!

LED- them are truly beautiful big bull gill. I used to call them " brophies ". Which is short for trophy bluegill. Them colors on those fish are downright gorgeous. I would say they are about ready to spawn at that color but I know they don't spawn that deep.

Thnx RT

Adam - yea, gotta sit em down, once in awhile, and stare at the rods. Sometimes work it a little and fish the column too. You're gonna have to post a pic of the chin whiskers....

Thnx papa, we got some plain Janes too. Think we are going to have an early spawn this year - if they stop messing with the lake level!

I too am amazed at panfishing 60' down! I mean, maybe with multi hook dropper rigs anchored with 3 oz. sinkers, but micro jigs?
