Well I needed to get some jigs painted up and I did a bunch, and I need to get some more done as I forgot to do the real small sizes but those will be the easy ones.

My wife calls this making a mess

The black glitter is tough, especially on a bright colored jig head. I found that the way to get it to be even is to dip one and then shake it up and dip another and shake again. It is time consuming but ok if you only have a few to do but it is the only way I found that you get even coverage without spraying. For me spraying works great for even coverage but you use a lot and it is the only paint I don't recover because you end up with mostly clear as the glitter tends to stick to the bags I use to reclaim my paint. I love the new penny with orange glitter, it is a great crawfish color and it looks a lot different than the copperhead.

Thanks all!! It made for a long day of painting on Saturday. and I wasn't even going to try the new penny with orange but once I did one and saw it I had to do more. The tying possibilities with that color head are going to be fun!!!

I hope you don't mind me asking but is that new penny a mixed color? I really like it to the point I want to get it and some orange glitter, that really is a fantastic color and you are 100% correct when you say the tying possibilities with that are going to be fun.

The new penny is a newer color from Pro-Tec. No mixing needed. I did the base coat heated back up a little and into the clear powder with orange glitter in it.
