Lot of Thumpin goin on

Well I done found them this afternoon. They was buried in the wood and their nose almost on shore.
Lost about a dozen jigs dabbling in the wood. Gawd they was hitting the jig hard. Only trouble was nothing over 9 inch. My personal limit is 10 inch. What they lacked in size they made up in eagerness. Played with them for a while. Until a guy walked out on main log, since I was in boat I left him have the spot. Went to another similar place and sure enough it was on again but still same size.

Duck flank jig were the ticket. Silver head and white fedders.

Had a lot of fun but came home with empty cooler

Sounds like fun.....10 " is the legal length down here ,so I'd a come home empty too ! Still nuthin better than getting your line stretched.
