Don't kid yourself Ronald..
Thx for all the wishes n suggestions.
Russ, don't think I won't take you up on that one day......
We slept in car hatch so I'd rather do that then try to cook n fill your belly up. Plus,I'm unsure you can handle the south flavor.
But I would like a turn at them fish holes I see you hunt.
Rog, went to Outer Banks, Nags Head, with Helianthus n Bug for their fam reunion. Good time, got to eat at a place that was on the Dives show? Tortuga's Lie? Dunno, but it was petty good.
I'm a changed man… so now women n children adore me.
Sonny, hoping next adventure is on your boat, trying to photograph one of your sweet Coppernose gills. Hope all is good with you.
kD, seemed like I shldve worried more about SC troopers concentrating on blown license plate tail lights at 3 in the morn.
Ty for the wishes mrs Mlou, we survived the treacherous drive.
Hawn, I researched a bit on the fishing bf we went. Where I was, wAs all salt. I live in LA and I have never been anywhere that could ever compare as far as salt water inland fishing. Offshore isn't too shabby either. Being I'd rather be on the bayou, I opted out of trying to fish the grounds. I did however go down to the Oregon inlet and check out where them boys on the Wicked Tuna show launch from.
Here's a pic of me pointing to where the sacalait should be.
My poles are always lost though.
Hookup, banjos? PINK kayaks? How else is there to fish?
Doug, I'm old. But I can drive. Just not at night… 3 hr stretches is about my max. If light is out I'm good for 8-9 hrs of driving. Helianthus is the night owl at the wheel.
Ronny, people were good, scenery good, food…ehhhh, but I've realized I'll never leave Louisiana. It gets no better, to me.
And Louisiana would NEVER be right without me…… right, Ronnie?!?!
