Little Trip

My wife(8 months pregnant) and I headed West Friday mornin to Sheveport for her to take her last exam. She was nervous the whole way and wouldn't let me turn on the radio! Ha said it might jumble up everything she's been studying! After dropping her off I had the privilege of meeting up with Redman. He came baring gifts... Thankfully I brought some also. I should have brought more. Thanks again Redman. I had to kill 2 hours while Steph took her test and I enjoyed every minute of it. Redmans jigs are outstanding and he has a wealth of knowledge. If ever given the opportunity I would recommend sitting down with him.

After her test we headed to Houston to see my oldest sister. She is at MD Anderson with leukemia. She's been here for 5 weeks undergoing treatments. Well while here she her last bone marrow result came back free and clear! Shes now in remission and gets to come home for a couple weeks. Of course it's not over and she still has a couple yrs of treatments but this is such a blessing for us and her 3 young kids. Treatments have come a long way in recent years. Looking forward to More fundraiser auctions!

We are heading home today... Wish I would have had more time to meet a few of
u Texans while out this way. Well atleast one or two of anyway!

Ronny glad to hear that your sister is in remission. Prayers sometimes are answered. Was very nice to meet up with you. I know that the next generation of tiers is in good hands. Ronny is a very bright young fellow and sure knows his stuff.

He taught me a lot on the powdered paint and man o man now my heads look half way decent.LoLs. Tricks of the trade I just hoped that you learned something from me.

I will say that I would like to have a get together some where. A week end retreat with a few seminars from some of our members. A Pot Luck fish fry and BBQ. May be a day of fishing. We may have to have regional get together as we are strung out all over this Great Nation. Then one day we may have a gathering of the regional tribes.LoLs

I never really venture into this side of the forum mUch.
Thankful for the great news about your sis and will keep her in my thoughts. I hope your wife's exam went well and you'll be allowed to listen to the radio... Or at least until the babys arrival.
As for meeting red, did he float? I've always pictured him hovering, speaking loudly, invoking his infinite wisdom on unsuspecting passers by.
