Little fishing buddy

Sophia was rummaging through a closet at home and found these overalls. I wear overalls except when it gets too hot whenever I go fishing and since she found these she says that now " I can go fishing just like my paw paw". I just had to take a picture. I guess things I wear and do are rubbing off on her. I'd better take her fishing soon.She just turned 4.View attachment 6

I have four children and I think they'll be providing more fishing buddies for awhile. I have two now under a year old so they will keep me busy for now. Sophia was born a few months before I retired so we have spent a lot of time together. I'm the only one who can keep her out of trouble,she's a handfull +++.

She is cute for sure. BTW Dickies Farmer Johns are the only thing I wear. Any where any more. People can go eat grass if they can't take me in overalls. They are comfortable and I find them cool to wear in the summer and with a pair of longjohns warm in the winter. I even have a couple of pairs of cut off overalls that I wear in the dead of summer. At $30 a pair they last a long time and the pockets in them are great hold every thing that I think I need.

I agree redman,have four pair,two regular and two camo plus the cutoffs as well. Wife won't let me go out to dinner in them though.

JJ one of my favorite family pictures is of my Grandfather and I and he was wearing his Farmer johns with a white shirt and tie. He died when I was 5. But that was about all he ever wore. Just wished that I could have had him longer. We would have had a great time together. I had my other Grandfather until I was 33 so I did get a lot of knowledge from him. And here I sit with no grand children of my own just step grand children. I guess that I will have to spoil them like they were mine.

About the only place we go out to eat is ether a Mexican joint or Catfish Junction and I am not the only one there wearing Farmer johns. What I real like about living in the backwoods of Deep East Texas.
