Was a rough day of fishing.I tried every jig that I had, pretty much.Saltwater fish are kinda routinely picky according to what is the bait that time of year.Every spring is pretty much the same, clamming on the bottom until the water warms up to maybe 59 degrees and trolling Manns Stretch 25's.Non stop 3' to 5' running waves.Winds were N. Westerly at sometimes 30 knots. For Landlubbers, that means a mean rough ride until you get back to a dock.Waves crashing over the bow while anchored in 25" of water is a terrible thing.Especially when it's only 40 degrees outside.I can truley know what them crab fishermen feel like, just not as bad as they have it.Wer got 3, 30 inchers on clams while anchored and just had to go back in before we died of hypothermia.Went back to the dock to sleep and dry off.At 3:00 pm decided to brave the winds again and picked up 5 more while trolling. We were back with our limit of 2 fish per person with the smallest being 30 inches long. The biggest were a pair of 31 1/2 inchers that put one heck of a fight up.Was my Easter present to the boys,At $250.00 worth of gas I should have gotten them both an Easter Basket, lol.Enjoy the pics.

Sounds like an interesting time with the wind but a good time catching. Congrats on that good size striper's. With fuel prices it is costly to fish but I bet they enjoyed the fishing maybe a little more than a basket :D
