I dunno what size those are (thought you said 1/8oz) but my 1/12oz & 1/8oz do quite fine on Palestine crappie. I even tie a few 5/32oz that I fish in the wind, deep like late Fall and do ok. These are 1/8oz left & right & 1/12oz top.

You know what Todd Huckabee says..."Big bait=Big Crappie!"

i have no idea what size they are! sorry. I do however need 1/64 oz and 1/32 ounce jigheads. maybe some 1/16 as well. maybe someone would be able to hook me up. maybe for a trade.

livingston crappie has been really off the pw ast couple years so i dont even know what one looks like. I know my dad got one on a jugline early this spring. thought it was pretty funny. unfortunately you cant keep em if they are not R&R

Looking good PanfishHunter, good color combos. Crappie will hit a big bait as fast as a small bait but it seems everyone likes a small bait better. If you take a 1/8 jig with a #1 hook then put on a minnow like a lot of fisherman do you have a bait close to 4''.

ive only fished crappie 2 or 3 times, and only once with jigs, and they were plastic. i like crappie fishing. but the fishing hasnt been good around here. hopefully ill get to go bream and crappie fishing more now that i am gonna be able to drive this year, and head to lake conroe, cuz its been doing good.
