It does look good!

I wish I had a fish tank, so I could make a video of how this stuff looks/acts in water!!! I "tested" it in a friends swimming pool and it basically acts like flashy maribue.

I may be the last guy that is just now finding this palmer material, but just in case......

They make this stuff in 3 sizes: Small (1/2"), medium (3/4") and large (1 1/4"). The small and medium come attached to what appears to be a single piece of thread. When installing the smaller stuff, it wants to role...

The large, for lack of better words, is "double banded" and WAY easier to work with, IMHO.

From now on, I will just purchase the large and cut it to shorter lengths, as needed.

In the fabric industry, both of the above would be characterized as eyelash yarns I believe. I have a Hareline product known as 'Baitfish Emulator Flash' that's appears longer, but otherwise a dead ringer for the yarn on the right. Bernat Boa is similar in construction to the yarn on the right as well, though it has much shorter length. It's, maybe, 3/4 of an inch long.

Just a little trivia to possibly explore... beyond the fly shop.

Your ties look really good. Well done.
