Lake livingston vacation

All was good this past week at grandmothers house. lakes really low. caught 2 catfish off the peir and a carp in the cast net. no fish on jigs.

Went out fishing with my dad's buddy Friday for some stripers and white bass. 1 striper caugjt, and around 15 to 20 whites. Not bad for about 3 hours. i caught a white on my fly rod too. it put up a fight!

Needless to say, i had fun, wish we had a good panfish population there but we dont so no jig testing done.

Have to agree with Stump... ALWAYS good to get out. Glad you had a good time!

You should have taken along some of your jigs - w.bass are very fun to chase after with jigs. Bright and shiny usually works well. Throw a spinner on also and they will tear it up.

Can try nose hooking a nightcrawler and drag the bottom for catfish too.

Can't catch all the time.. The older you get the more valuable family time becomes.
