Just a quick report on how those red/white/yellow jigs I tied Wednesday worked on the crappie. They liked them:):) Fished the same place as Monday and pulled 1/16 jigs in 2' to 6' depths.
Kept my limit of 30 nice crappie. Most times I don't keep many fish but we are having a spring event and I told em I would bring some fillets.

Thanks guys. The spring is a great time to catch crappie but with the water temps already up to 70 the shallow fishing here can't last for to long. Heck we have had our air-conduction running for 3 days. Is this still March !!! WOW.

Congrats Ronnie, looks like you worked on them. We've been tearing tem up over here too. Today's the first day this week that I didn't go fishing. Theres probably nowhere to park at the landing today.
