Tied my first flies in probably 2+ months tonight. I knocked out two dozen soft hackles in about an hour and twenty minutes. Not too shabby for taking some time off!

Good work.....I time myself often. Main crappie jig I prefer is avg 4.5 minutes. I tied tail spinners last night avg time was 6 minutes!

A good tyer like you QK doesn't never forget how to tie, just have to knock off the dust.:)

My postman asked yesterday about all the packages I had coming and going since he knew I tied jigs he was wondering about the Bass Masters coming back to SC next year and if I was tying anything for bass so I took him upstairs to my tying room---he's still up there with his jaw on the floor!!! :D

HA! It felt really good to just sit and tie. I almost always have the TV or radio on..... didn't even do that. Just sat in a quiet room. It was so relaxing! (A 15 month old and an 8 week old have given me an entirely new appreciation of quiet times)
