Long title but important.

Recently I received a package, from Jungle Jim, that I had been waiting for about 5 months. JJ got Matzuo to replace 2 boxes of some defective #8 Black chrome jig hooks. Long story - short - my two super smart German Shepherds decided they wanted to pour jigs and they got into one of the boxes.

I have been picking up hooks, with a magnet for 3 days now... Surprisingly haven't found any other hooks on them?????

Blanca had a tongue piercing on the tip - luckily it came out. Shea, on the other hand, had 2 hooks in her mouth. Was able to get one but the other required a trip to the vet. One hook was stuck in her tongue that stuck to the roof of her mouth. $170 later I am still looking for hooks.......

This happened they day after they tore open a roll of insulation that was supposed to go back for store credit....

Wow, I hope they don't ever do that again. Could have been worse if the hooks were bigger. I'm paranoid my dog Tobey will do the same thing, he's always checking out my tying area, sniffing around. He eats feathers or anything else that hits the floor that I might miss.

Bet they were mad at you for something . Every time I didn't take mine in the car I had to put up everything of value because they know somehow what to chew up to get even .

O boy I know that was a bad day!!
My old big black cat I use to have that thought he was my dog got in my boat and decided he wanted one of my jigs with the feathers that looked so good to him, yes he was hooked through the lip with a sickle. Lucky he laid still and let me cut it out, he never missed with my tackle again! I miss old Fat-cat, he was always into something.

And I thought I had it bad when one of my cats tried to chew the skin off a rooster saddle. Came home and found loose feathers everywhere.

Glad they came out OK in the end.
