Kayak Longline video report 9-12-13

Spent a little time in the yak yesterday pulling handtied jigs and curly tail jigs. The catch rate was about the same on both jig types.

Warning, this type of fishing is addicting :)

Cool video! That does look like it would be addictive. Would you happen to be using a Gopro Hero 3 camera? Ive been wanting to find someone that has one.

All the fish were released. I don't keep many fish anymore with just the wife and myself at home now, if the kids want some I'll keep a mess for them but that doesn't happen often.

Ronny, that is a Go Pro camera. I just bought it and that was the first time using it. With it setting in the enclosed box you don't pick up the sounds. Here is a pic of where I have it set up.

That does look like fun. You need to put up a picture of your yak all decked out and ready to fish sometime..... looks like you have one heck of a ride!
