Details, details....... we need details. :D Tail looks like some kind of rope material, but what is the body material? Heads have a cool paint job also.

The 'ball end' tails (not sure what else to call them?) seem to be gaining popularity, but i have not used any of the style yet. Do they kick like a paddle tail swimbait? There are several ice fishing plastics that use them also now. Interested to hear how they work for you.

I didn't know what a Strike King® Mr. Crappie® Joker was, so I had to look it up.

Those jigs are cool. :t-up:

The body of the jig is red tinsel with clear cure goo. The tail is decorative trim rope from Hobby Lobby. As you can see i knotted the end and touched it with zap/gap so it doesn,t come undone. The jig head is from crappie pro.

I have a question for the masses - who pours a chub head jig in 1/8, 3/32 or 3/16? Help here is appreciated...

Those are cool jigs! A little like a jig version of the "surf candy" saltwater fly. I'm into the UV cure resin as well. I'm going to have to tie a few of those!
