I'm game! I might be able to find a place on my boat for another decal. Would they be either white or black (or other colors) on a clear background?

I think they would look good with a white background and the standard black JC logo on the white background

I do hope to get some made up very soon! I have a local source for them, but wanted to get started with the clothing first so i had some $$ to play with and start the order. I am going to need eight of them just for the family kayaks and vehicles then some for my Dad's boat too. :D Going to have to estimate how many total i would need printed.......... Led - How many you think you would want for yourself?

They will most likely be an oval with white background and the black/gray (redeye) logo.

Hang tight........ they will happen this year.

Just a guess.... maybe around 3" x 5". I got a quote once but have to dig to find what size i told them. The stickers that are outdoor grade and UV fade resistant are what i want - are more costly.

Vehicle and boat decals are a lot like TV's in that the bigger it is the better it is. Remember the U.S. Navy never sent a PT boat to do a battleship's job.:P

Another question about the JC clothing. I would like to personalize by having my user name embroidered on my stuff. Would the owners of the site have any problem with this ? If so I will not do it. Strictly a vanity thing and wife tells me I am as vain as they come:exclamation:

Papa....

Meaning no dis-respect, but as a WWII history buff, I can tell you that in 1942 (an in to 1943), at Guadalcanal, the US Navy did just that - they sent PT boats to battle the Japanese Tokyo Express, as good portion of the US fleet that remained after Pearl Harbor was sitting at the bottom of Iron Bottom Sound - there was no surface force left to deal w/ the Japanese, so the PT's had to. Pres. John F. Kennedy had his PT 109 sunk in battle with a Jap destroyer.

None taken. I am aware of that battle also the one in 1944 when Halsey chased a decoy carrier fleet to lure his battle flattops away from the Phillippine landings. Task force Taffy was just a bunch of destroyers and a couple of escort carriers. When the heavily armed Japenese fleet turned around the battered Americans cracked " hey they are getting away ". The over cautious commanding Admiral thought a heavier armed American fleet had to be nearby . The only reason that such desperate attacks by the mosquito like attacks of task force taffy made any sense.

Remark was just meant to be humorous not factual.

I'd be in for two. At this point what is the total count from everybody? I would guess the more the greater price break? Just a thought........
