I'm wondering if there are any jig tiers in or around middleTN. I'm just starting to tie jigs. I would love to get to know others here in the middle TN area (or those in or near Nashville).

Meanwhile, I continue to follow here on JigCraft and learn from each of you that take the time to share..........

Thanks for your help,
Mike

Mike, if you can't find anyone in your area, everyone here will help, I should say even if you find some you can come here and get all the help you need. I started here just knowing how to tie buck tails and rabbit hair jigs but now I learned to do a few crappie jigs and I learned a lot of different materials to use to. so just stop by and take a seat and let the learnin' begin!!!!

Welcome from OH and glad to have you on board. Most of us are all pretty spread out across the country.

OK, I'm on my way!! I placed an order for a new Peak vise today. Now while I'm waiting for it to arrive, I need to get with some suppliers and get some tying materials and a few tools. Any suggestions??

Crazy Angler, Barlows Tackle, and i'm sure the guys will have more for you. If you want good prices I would say Grandpa bobs but you never know if your items are back ordered or if he is having a bad week because my last 3 orders took over 10 days on average. I don't mind but no answer emails when the money is paid, that isn't good but the prices are the best so if you don't mind 10 days to 3 weeks then grandpa bobs will be a good place to go.

Sounds like in other threads you are pouring your own jigs, so you should be set there.

Fishhunter775 has an Ebay store. Good prices and very good to work with. He is a member here that checks in often.

Crazy Angler Tackle has good prices and very good to work with. He is a member here that checks in on occasion.

I get the majority of my stuff from Jann's Netcraft - they have tying materials and many other tackle building supplies besides just jig/fly stuff. Maybe i am bias as they are an Ohio company and been in their brick & mortar shop a few time. Fast, but pricey, shipping. They do often have specials you receive through email. Also has a member representing them on the board.
